Our mission is to make plastic-free packaging the easy, affordable choice for food businesses.
SweetCane Packaging supplies bagasse (sugarcane fibre) packaging factory-direct from Thai mills, shipped by the container.
What we do
We supply sugarcane fibre (bagasse) straws, takeaway boxes and clamshells to food businesses. Bagasse is the fibre left after sugarcane is crushed for juice – a plant-based alternative to plastic and polystyrene foam. We sell sugarcane and natural plant-fibre products only: no paper, PLA (polylactic acid) or plastic.
How we work
We work with established factories in Thailand. Orders ship directly from the factory to your business by the container, which keeps costs down and avoids double handling.
- MOQ (minimum order quantity): 50,000–100,000 pieces per item, mixed items allowed in one 40HQ (40-foot high cube) container
- Lead time: 30–45 days after order confirmation, then sea freight
- Shipping: FOB (free on board) Bangkok / Laem Chabang, Thailand
- Prices: quoted per order
Certifications
Certification documents (FDA food contact, LFGB, EN 13432 / OK Compost, BPI, PFAS test reports) are being collected from our factories. Ask us for current status for any item.
